PopUp Bagels in Meriden, CT is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist on a full-time, hourly basis. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing bakery production and packaging equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, continuous operations.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with high-speed equipment, and a proactive preventive-maintenance mindset. Schedule options include morning and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting skills for high-speed bakery production equipment.
• Experience with motors, control systems, sensors, and PLCs.
• Background in preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Replace bearings, sprockets, chains, motors, belts, gearboxes and related parts.
• Troubleshoot high-speed packaging lines including conveyors and labeling systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Support setup, changeovers, calibration, and adjustments per schedule.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
