Job summary

Qualified Recruiter, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to increase productivity and equipment availability in our manufacturing operations. The role focuses on improving existing designs and processes to boost throughput, reduce costs, and ensure quality while supporting the maintenance team under SQF requirements.

Key duties include troubleshooting, equipment installation and testing, developing preventive maintenance data and procedures, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with steam cooking systems and sterilization equipment is desirable.
• Robotics, PLC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot problems in operational hardware and software.
• Develop technical data and procedures for maintenance systems.
• Coordinate on-site installation, testing, and fabrication tasks.
• Ensure compliance with SQF requirements and safety policies.
• Record repairs and maintenance in tracking software.
• Support training of technicians and operators.
