Job summary

ADM Flour Mill in Enid, OK is seeking a lab technician to perform daily sampling of wheat and flour, conduct analytical testing, and record results.

You will operate pH meters, spectrophotometers, and other lab equipment, maintain LIMS data, and help ensure product quality through rigorous documentation and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to FDA/GMP/OSHA standards while supporting production through timely test results.

Qualifications

• Excellent safety record and awareness.
• Demonstrates sufficient computer skills to utilize lab instrument operation programs.
• Familiarity with Excel and Word; experience with lab documentation.
• Experience with operating standard lab equipment (pH meter, balances, spectrophotometer).
• Strong math skills for calculations related to lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare process and finished product samples; perform analytical testing using instrumental and wet chemistry procedures.
• Enter and report data using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Maintain samples of tested product to confirm test results and notify operations of adjustments.
• Document results of testing procedures and ensure timely communication to operations.
• Maintain a neat, clean working area and proper storage of equipment.
