Job summary

Deibel Labs is hiring an entry-level Food Lab Aide/Media to support the Allentown, PA lab. The role involves washing lab dishware, assisting technicians with sample prep, and preparing broths and agars for daily operations.

You will work 40 hours per week on a Thu–Mon shift from 3pm to 11pm, with on-site duties and the opportunity to train on all required tasks. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, plus comprehensive health benefits, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 years of work experience preferred.
• Fluency in written and spoken English required.
• Ability to follow written instructions (recipes) and work safely in lab environments.
• Willingness to train for entry-level duties.

Responsibilities

• Wash lab dishware and assist Lab technicians with sample prep.
• Assist in media lab by preparing broths and agars for operations.
• Work independently and with the team in a fast-paced lab setting.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs with both hands and stand for long periods.
• Occasional holiday work expected and schedule: Thu–Mon, 3pm–11pm.
