Job Description: The Food House Cook prepares large or small batch recipes, packages products, chops vegetables, or builds retail-ready products. Maintains a clean work area and follows personal/food safety guidelines.

Schedule: Same weekly schedule (except for vacation/holiday coverage).

Essential Qualifications:

• Available to work 6am mornings and weekends
• Basic knife and prep skills
• Read and follow recipes in English
• Regular, predictable attendance
• Self-motivation / direction

Functional Qualifications:

• The ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day, bend, twist, and lift 40# repeatedly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional kitchen experience
• Excellent English reading and computer abilities (a bonus)
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work with co-workers from various cultural backgrounds
