Job summary

Calbee America, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead to support daily warehouse operations, promote safety, and ensure accurate receipt, storage, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods.

You will provide day-to-day leadership to warehouse associates, drive inventory accuracy with BC/WMS, enforce FDA/HACCP/GMP standards, and partner with Production, Quality, and Shipping to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse leadership experience, preferably within a food manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of FDA, HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Experience with inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS); experience with Business Central (BC) preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership, training, and support to warehouse associates.
• Coordinate receiving, storage, staging, and shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate execution.
• Print scheduled manufacturing orders and need to stage materials for upcoming production runs.
• Ensure ingredients and packaging materials are staged using FIFO practices and available to support production schedules.
• Conduct daily warehouse walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety compliance.
• Monitor equipment condition and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Maintain warehouse forms, records, and SOPs.
• Support special shipping instructions and sample shipments as needed.
• Monitor and maintain organization of product hold areas.
• Track and document product disposals and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
