Job summary

Gibbon Packing, LLC, an American Foods Group company, is seeking a Dock Worker for our Gibbon, NE plant, with placement at the Grand Island freezer facility. You will check, count, store, ship, and receive product to meet company standards while following food safety fundamentals and good warehousing practices.

The role requires readiness for varied temperatures and working around moving equipment with PPE, plus ability to work overtime and complete training in Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOP, and

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be able to work in varied temperatures and around moving equipment with PPE.
Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
Ability to work extended hours Monday through Saturday with daily overtime; start times vary based on production needs.
Must complete training: Safety, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, SOP, Food defense, Pallet jack, Scan gun.

Responsibilities

Check, count, store, ship, and receive product to meet company standards.
Understand and follow fundamentals of food safety, HACCP, SQF, GMPs, and good warehousing practices.
Ensure proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of safe and quality food products at the facility.
