Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Specialty Equipment (Food Technician) to perform routine maintenance on food equipment and fixtures at a local store. You will follow maintenance schedules, inspect equipment, and repair or replace components to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Under the supervision of the General Maintenance Manager, you will train Store Associates, document work orders, and respond quickly to maintenance emergencies in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of commercial equipment preferred.
• Technical certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive reactive repairs and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
