Walmart Distribution Center in Sandusky, OH is seeking a capable leader to manage store operations, develop teams, and drive regionally aligned financial performance. You’ll supervise hourly associates, mentor staff, and ensure policies and integrity while delivering exceptional customer service and engaging with community initiatives.

The role emphasizes training, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to meet budgeted goals and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying will require successful completion of a firearms- specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates and promote a belonging mindset in the workplace.
• Coordinate activities and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to meet customer and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics by applying Open Door Policy and related actions.
