Job summary

Walmart in Champaign, IL is seeking a store leadership professional to supervise and develop teams, drive store performance, and elevate the customer experience through the One Best Way service model.

You will lead staffing, training, budgeting, and merchandising initiatives, ensuring compliance and integrity. This role emphasizes collaboration across levels to meet sales goals and community needs.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
• Firearms training/ CBC may be required for firearms facilities where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates.
• Tours stores, provides feedback, communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates about store operations and company direction.
• Models exceptional customer service standards and supports customer service initiatives and community outreach programs.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses in designated area.
• Supports staffing and development of hourly associates, setting expectations and promoting a culture of belonging.
