Job summary

Walmart in Virginia Beach is seeking a store supervisor to lead and develop multiple teams, train associates, and drive customer-focused service through the OBW model. You will oversee feedback, coaching, and communication of store goals across all levels of staff.

The role includes managing budgeting, forecasting, merchandising, inventory flow, and shrink control to achieve sales and profit targets, while building a high-performing, diverse team that delivers an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience with 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience with 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Possess the ability to supervise diverse associates and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Eligibility considerations may include background checks for firearms-related positions where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by training, listening to associates, and providing feedback.
• Drives store performance by managing budgeting, forecasting, and expenses to align with sales.
• Oversees customer service initiatives and applies OBW service model to maintain high standards.
• Plans merchandising, inventory flow, and shrink mitigation to meet profit goals.
• Recruits, mentors, and evaluates hourly staff while fostering a culture of belonging.
