Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and a friendly attitude. You will handle a variety of retail tasks across product, service, and merchandising in our Fresh departments.

You will build connections with customers, keep displays fresh and compliant with safety standards, and use store technology to complete tasks efficiently. This role requires physical activity and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
