Meijer, a family company serving communities, is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You will engage customers, help them find products, and maintain clean, organized displays.

This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn about food safety, merchandising, and store operations while working across Meat, Produce, Bakery, Deli, Seafood, and Grocery teams.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate friendly, customer-first attitude and ability to multitask.
• Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort learning and using store technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
