Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to greet customers, share product knowledge, and keep our Fresh departments welcoming and well‑run. You’ll build positive connections with teammates and help customers find what they need.

Daily tasks include stocking, rotating, and merchandising, using technology to complete tasks, and following food safety procedures in a fast-paced store environment. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required; this role requires physical tasks

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
