Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to provide friendly, knowledge-driven service in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, help them find products, and maintain appealing displays to enhance the shopping experience.

You’ll join a fast-paced team, follow food safety standards, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately. Weekly pay and benefits support your growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
