Job summary

Westin Riverwalk Hotel in San Antonio is seeking an Outlet Server to help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area and deliver exceptional guest service. You will clear and reset tables, stock stations, serve beverages, and keep service ware organized throughout all meal periods.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the Outlet Manager and servers, adherence to attendance rules, and flexibility to perform other duties as assigned to support the dining room operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle moving service ware and goods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager and Restaurant Servers in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Clear dirty table settings quickly and prepare tables for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods.
• Serve guests with beverages, bread and butter, and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area and ensure proper cleaning.

Promptly and consistently reset all service ware.Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments.Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsKnowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.Effective verbal and written communication skills.
