Job summary

Aramark is seeking a General Utility Worker I for Cisco at Santana Row in San Jose, CA. This role supports both back-of-house and front-of-house Food & Beverage tasks, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient operation.

The position reports to Aramark’s standards and requires flexibility in hours, adherence to health and safety policies, and the ability to learn and perform various duties across departments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to hours and duties.
• This role may involve physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including pot/dish wash and deep clean duties.
• Attend in-house training sessions.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations.
• Comply with the company’s health and safety policy and procedures.
• Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation; assist chefs with checking in deliveries.
• Perform general cleaning duties and prepare service areas.
• Accurately store food items and equipment after service.
• Support service points and equipment setup.
• Assist with basic front-of-house/food & beverage tasks as needed.
