Seasonal or full-time year round.What perks can you expect?:Join an inclusive, global team and make life-long connections.Enjoy free access to Pursuit attractions and 50% off for friends.Get discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail.Access subsidized mental health and wellness resources.What will you do in this job?:Preparation and verification of daily cash reportsEnsuring accurate cash, debit, and credit card transactionsInvolved in the placing of and receiving food ordersCoordinate food and beverage inventoriesInteracts with customers and maintains the highest level of customer serviceReceive payment for all services provided to the customerListen to and resolve any customer complaintsEnsure the restaurant area is clean and organized at all timesServe tables, bartend as requiredUphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employeesReport all maintenance and repair needs to the Location ManagerReport and assist the Location Manager with performance management of employeesEnsure opening and closing checklists are up to date and being used properly dailyDetailed daily communications; to staff via lineups and on the floor discussion, to leadership via shift pass ons, in addition to daily shift reports outlining the shift in detailMotivate staff and have an influential part in in team building and bondingLead GEM and tour functions;Printing and advance review of BEO’sSetup and service of all events – ensuring no details are missed and the guest experience is seamlessCompletion of GEM and Tour Billing ensuring accuracy and timelinessWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?:Hospitality certification preferredMinimum two years’ experience in restaurant operations with supervisory experienceProserve and WHIMIS certificationExcellent knowledge of food & beverage serviceGood knowledge of wine, spirits and beerExcellent communication, interpersonal, guest and public relations skillsNeat and clean in appearance and work habitsAbility to accept and give directionAbility to motivate train and provide on-going coachingBe able to work with minimal supervisionAbility to work within a teamPositive attitudeAbility to deal with guest challenges and solve problems as they ariseAble to work all shifts including split shiftsWhat will your work environment be like?:Beautiful.
