The F&B Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of restaurants and bar outlets, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and evaluate the Food & Beverage team members.
  • Delegate duties and responsibilities.
  • Maintain service standards and enforce coaching and accountability measures.
  • Ensure safety and security of employees and guests, reducing injuries.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality, addressing variances promptly.
  • Participate in recruitment, performance reviews, and staff development.
  • Review marketing and F&B activities with team members.
  • Oversee cleaning, side work standards, and equipment maintenance.
  • Manage staffing levels within budget, adjusting as needed.
  • Address customer complaints and build guest relationships.
  • Assist in budgeting and operational standards development.
  • Provide leadership and project management as assigned.
  • Conduct departmental meetings and training sessions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Work on the floor 90% of the time, focusing on guest service.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

Attend training, obtain required licenses, and perform duties in compliance with laws and regulations, including preventing minors from gambling or loitering, and reporting misconduct.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

Ability to communicate ideas and make independent decisions.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Virginia Racing Commission License, Serv-Safe certification.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage subordinates, including supervising employees.
