Qualifications

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Food & Beverage Supervisor is to provide guests with an excellent food and beverage experience while ensuring that all Associates meet brand standards and exceed guest expectations.

Work Performed:

TheFood & BeverageSupervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

  • Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverageassociates;

  • Conduct appropriatetraining,coaching and accountability of food and beverage associates when service, performance, or cleanliness standards are notmet;

  • Ensure all opening and closing side work is completed on a dailybasis;

  • Work quickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow through with appropriate manager(s);

  • Act as a liaison between kitchen and front of houseassociates;

  • AssistotherAssociatesin their job duties as necessary, including bartending, bussing, cooking andserving;

  • Assist with ordering supplies and equipmentwhile controllingcosts;

  • Responsible for scheduling Associates to ensure adequate coverage for business needs and that Associates are provided the opportunity to take all required meal and rest breaks;Adhere toHealth Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination, including keepingcompartment sink, side boards, and refrigerators clean and sanitized;

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents,injuriesand unsafe work conditions to management;and

  • Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

  • At least sixmonthsofexperience inserveror related capacity
  • Prior supervisor/leadershipexperience
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Prior related hotel experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Safety Training certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment.
  • Alcohol Awareness certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally and 20lbs regularly
  • Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
  • Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
  • Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekends and holidays
