Qualifications

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Homewood Mountain & Lake Club, set on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe in Homewood, California. Homewood is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Food & Beverage Department.**Job Summary:**The Food & Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring exceptional food and beverage service, maintaining quality standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role is perfect for someone who has strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and enjoys working in a vibrant and scenic environment. **Duties & Responsibilities:*** Team Leadership - Supervise and mentor the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and bussers, providing direction, training, and constructive feedback to ensure a high level of service.* Operations - Oversee the daily operations of the assigned venue (89 Bar & Grill or Big Blue View Bar), including managing schedules, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring efficient service.* Guest Experience - Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service. Address any guest concerns or issues professionally and effectively.* Beverage Quality - Maintain the highest standards in food & beverage preparation and presentation. Ensure that all items are prepared and delivered according to established recipes and quality standards.* Inventory & Stock Management - Manage outlet inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and conducting regular inventory checks. Ensure the bar is always fully stocked with necessary items.* Compliance - Ensure adherence to all state and local laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
