Job summary

Hyatt Vacation Club in the United States is seeking a Food & Beverage Ops Supervisor to help provide Owners and guests with memorable experiences and events, in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The role involves overseeing storage, inventories, dining room service, staff training, inter-department collaboration, and ensuring guest satisfaction, with competitive pay and meaningful benefits.

Responsibilities

• Inspects storage areas for organization, use of First In First Out (FIFO), and cleanliness and rectify any deficiencies.
• Completes inventories (e.g., opening inventory) of supplies, food, and liquor, checks the stock, and requisitions necessary supplies.
• Monitors dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Ensures associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
• Collaborates with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions.
• Assists in hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction.

Typical Day Responsibilities

Physical and Working Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance. Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
