POSITION: F & B Operations Manager

FLSA STATUS: Full-time Salary, Exempt
SUMMARY
This position oversees the responsibilities of primarily food hall operations, including supervision of all Front of House Staff within concessions and Premium operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hire and train all Food Hall staff, supporting additional hiring and training of bar, concessions, and premium staff.
- Plan, assign, and direct work for employees and subcontractors, including scheduling, tip-outs, and timecard management.
- Oversee subcontractor partnerships, agreements, expectations, and daily needs.
- Maintain bar operations knowledge, focusing on efficiency and controls.
- Supervise part-time supervisors and staff.
- Ensure all bars are properly stocked and staffed for events.
- Manage labor costs and meet budget goals.
- Attend internal event-related meetings.
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of all food and beverage equipment.
- Comply with City Health Department and internal sanitation audit regulations.
- Maintain attention to detail and consistency in service quality.
- Engage actively with staff and customers during events.
- Assist the Director of F & B in ordering products and equipment, and maintaining uniforms.
- Conduct inventory counting, recording, and controls.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Point of Sale software and reporting.
- Support Back-of-House staff as needed.
- Perform opening and closing duties of Provisions Food Hall during non-event and event days.
- Coordinate with all ASM Global departments at Boeing Center at Tech Port for event planning, preparation, and execution.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise multiple team members in the Food & Beverage department, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions in accordance with ASM policies and applicable laws.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a venue or multi-purpose F&B operation servicing concessions, bars, and catering for large events.
- At least 3 years of managerial bar operations experience.
- Experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
- Experience working with contract F&B accounts.
- Experience in a Food Hall or similar managerial role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Serve-safe certification within 90 days of employment.
- TABC alcohol beverage permit required within 30 days.
