Position Summary
Under general supervision, this position reports to the Director of Food and Beverage and assists in all areas of Food & Beverage at the DCU Center. It coordinates with all departments to ensure food and beverage operations are timely and effective.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing Food and Beverage training programs, policies, and procedures.
- Organize and supervise all part‑time Food and Beverage staff under guidance of leadership.
- Coach employees, reward and recognize performance, and create a shared understanding of goals.
- Utilize Catering software to create BEOs and accurately compute menu costs for sales opportunities and ongoing menu revisions.
- Provide the highest customer service excellence and oversee food and beverage operations during events to ensure client satisfaction.
- Create schedules as needed and follow card‑handling policies, Legends Global, Savor, and building specific policies and procedures.
- Record keeping, reports, and monthly concessions & catering inventory; meet deadlines for reports or projects required by General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Director of Food and Beverage.
- Ensure all Savor Food and Beverage policies and procedures are followed and maintain a Health Department score of 90 or higher.
- Enforce sanitation procedures, safety guidelines, and OSHA requirements and maintain Savor Safe Alcohol Management Program compliance.
- Cooperate with supervisors and other departments, maintain a team‑like attitude, and perform reasonable requests from management.
- Oversee all food and beverage departments, including concessions, beverage, suites, catering, and kitchen when needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Based on the event schedule, supervise all part‑time food and beverage employees to ensure they provide services required in a safe and timely fashion.
Compensation
Annual salary range: $50,000 - $60,000. Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. At least 3 years of hospitality experience in food and beverage service. ServSafe certified (Food Handler, Allergen, and Alcohol trainings) within first 90 days.

- Lift and carry items weighing 10–30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, up and down stairs up to 400 feet about 15 times per shift.
- Perform arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Intermediate computer skills of Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel. Experience with Clover POS system a plus.
