Ontario Trillium Foundation in Columbus, OH is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our hotel’s restaurant, bar, banquet, and catering operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance.
You will recruit and develop a diverse F&B team, optimize menus and costs, ensure HACCP compliance, and partner with hotel leadership to maintain the highest service standards across all outlets.
We are seeking an energetic, hands-on, and guest-focused Food & Beverage Manager to lead our hotel’s food and beverage operations. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations across our restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, and other F&B outlets while ensuring an exceptional guest experience and strong financial performance.

Lead and oversee all daily food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, and event services.
Ensure consistent standards for food quality, presentation, service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Recruit, interview, train, coach, and develop food and beverage team members.
Create and manage staff schedules while ensuring appropriate staffing levels based on business demand.
Lead pre-shift meetings and provide ongoing coaching to improve service standards and team performance.
Manage food, beverage, and operating inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, par levels, and waste control.
Monitor food and beverage costs and implement strategies to improve profitability.
Review and analyze P&L statements, labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, and other financial reports to identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense reduction.
Oversee POS operations, including order processing, cash handling, reporting, and daily reconciliation.
Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, health, and safety regulations, including HACCP principles.
Manage banquet and catering operations, ensuring successful execution of meetings, events, and group functions.
Build strong relationships with guests and promptly resolve service concerns.
Develop initiatives to increase restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, and other F&B revenue.
Maintain a positive, professional team culture focused on accountability, communication, and exceptional hospitality.
Partner with hotel leadership and other departments to ensure seamless operations and a consistent guest experience.
Previous management experience in hotel, restaurant, food & beverage, or hospitality operations.
Experience managing restaurant, banquet, catering, or bar operations preferred.
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse hospitality team.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, service standards, kitchen operations, and food safety.
Experience with inventory management, purchasing, cost control, and budgeting.
Ability to understand and analyze P&L statements and other financial reports.
Familiarity with POS systems; experience with MICROS is preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong guest-service mindset with the ability to resolve concerns professionally and effectively.
HACCP or food-safety knowledge/certification preferred.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
