Bestaff is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) to perform preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment in our food and beverage production facilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, repair components, and ensure cleanliness and food safety standards while collaborating with production and QA teams to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.

Qualificações

• Read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Operate and diagnose automated production equipment via HMI.
• Experience with 480V electrical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• PLC logic experience preferred.
• Welding, fabricating, and machining experience preferred.
• Strong communication with technicians, operators, and leadership for safety and cooperation.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA, FDA, GMP.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment in food and beverage production (conveyors, mixers, fillers, packaging machinery, refrigeration).
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Repair and replace defective parts using hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitized, and maintained per food safety standards.
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring safety and manufacturer specs.
• Document maintenance activities in logs and records.
• Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Stay updated on industry developments in electro-mechanical maintenance for food/beverage.
