Job summary

Ottine Mineral Springs is seeking experienced and passionate Food + Beverage Attendants to take orders, process transactions, and deliver food and beverage items in a friendly, efficient manner. The Food + Beverage Attendants will be key members of the food + beverage team, and they’ll be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience at our service counter.

Both full-time and part-time positions will require some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food service or counter position is preferred.
• Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and wellness-focused cuisine is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Valid Texas food handler card and TABC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the counter.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and answer menu questions.
• Handle payments including cash and credit cards.
• Prepare and hand over food and beverage items with proper presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter service area and ensure food safety standards.
• Address guest concerns professionally and collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth service.

Position

FOOD + BEVERAGE ATTENDANT: Ottine Mineral Springs is seeking experienced and passionate Food + Beverage Attendants to take orders, process transactions, and deliver food and beverage items in a friendly, efficient manner. The Food + Beverage Attendants will be key members of the food + beverage team, and they’ll be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience at our service counter.

Compensation

$17 hourly + tips

Qualifications

• Positions require some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in a food service or counter position preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and wellness-focused cuisine.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional guest service skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
• Valid Texas food handler card and TABC certification
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and customer service.
• CPR and first aid certification is a plus and /or the willingness to be trained.
• The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, and the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally.
• The person in this position will need to be comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor space.

• Assist with basic prep tasks and stock replenishment when necessary.
• Participate in relevant meetings.
• Due to changing operational demands and the need to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position.
