The Food Bank Warehouse Driver at Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee manages warehouse tasks and drives for donation pickups and deliveries, assisting partner agencies, donors and volunteers. Non-Exempt, full-time, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, $18.00/hour.

Must have a Florida driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs (100 with help), ServSafe certification, forklift cert within 30 days, and forklift/pallet jack experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs (100 lbs with assistance).
• ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain.
• Forklift certification within 30 days of employment.
• Customer-service oriented and able to communicate clearly.

Responsabilités

• Drive up to a 26' box truck for pickups and deliveries.
• Assist agencies with selection, write invoices, and load vehicles.
• Greet donors, weigh and record donations, and prepare slips.
• Move pallets, operate forklift/pallet jacks, and load/unload.
• Maintain FIFO organization and clean warehouse, freezer, and cooler.
• Support food drives and events as needed.
