HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking a PRN Food and Nutrition Service Worker II to support the Food & Nutrition Department. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, organization, and distribution of meals and supplies, while delivering excellent customer service to patients and staff.

The position may involve training others and managing multiple tasks during peak periods, upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and ensuring accurate, timely meal service within a hospital

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Commitment to confidentiality and patient rights policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and employees.
• Assist in training and guiding other staff as needed.
• Perform tasks with multiple priorities during peak workload while ensuring accuracy.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker II will be a competent support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees and may provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work.

• Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Management Plan.
• Integrates ethics in all areas of practice. Adheres to confidentiality and patient’s right policies.
• Completes work within acceptable time limits. Demonstrates the ability to set priorities.
• Able to perform several tasks simultaneously during peak workload situations.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed.
• Maintains a clean organized work area.
