Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest in Houston is seeking a Food and Nutrition Service Associate to support the Food & Nutrition Department with cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies for patients and staff.

As a frontline support member, you will follow infection control practices, HIPAA guidelines, and site standards while contributing to patient satisfaction and efficient service in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1+ years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all times.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food and Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.
