The Food and Beverage Supervisor oversees all food and beverage operations within the youth sports complex. This position ensures high-quality service, product consistency, and adherence to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service management, a passion for sports and youth programming, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Job: Food & Beverage Supervisor

This position ensures high-quality service, product consistency, and adherence to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service management, a passion for sports and youth programming, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee employee performance during shifts
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and solve customer complaints or issues
  • Train new staff and on the spot coaching with existing staff
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work environment
  • Control inventory and handle cash transactions and nightly reports
  • Communication with management about all areas of concern and opportunities

Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in food service or hospitality, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work standard hours as well as swing shift
  • Experience in a youth- or sports-focused environment is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Adhere to Big League Dreams policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen or concession setting.
  • Comfortable working in indoor/outdoor environments, depending on event needs.
