Job summary

Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center in Denver, CO, is seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage supervisor to support restaurant operations and train outlet staff. You will greet guests, coordinate reservations, and ensure service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of food outlet operations including supervision and guest interaction.
• Knowledge of state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist Restaurant manager and F&B Managers in the operation of the coffee shop and restaurant.
• Help with training and supervising outlet staff.
• Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating pertinent information to staff (house count, daily specials, promotions, menu changes).
• Meet and greet guests, escort to tables, present menus.
• Answer phones, coordinate and document reservations.
• Maintain communication with other departments and attend relevant meetings; assist in marketing and menu surveys.
• Monitor food quality and guest satisfaction; ensure high standards and compliance with guest specifications.
• Support the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas, handling projects, running promotions, and public relations.

The Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center is a 4-Star Full Service 451-room Hotel with 30,000 square feet of conference space, and we are currently recruiting dynamite individuals in our food and beverage department. We are conveniently located within the Hampden South neighborhood @ I-25 and 225 in the tech center. What you will be doing

• Assist Restaurant manager and F&B Managers in the operation of the coffee shop and restaurant.
• Help with training and supervising outlet staff.
• Organizing and conducting pre-shift and departmental meetings, communicating pertinent information to the staff, such as house count, daily specials, promotions, and menu changes.
• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, escort them to their table, and present menus.
• Answer telephones in a clear voice, coordinate and document reservations.
• Maintain communication with all departments and attend relevant meetings. Participate in marketing efforts of restaurants, assist in creating menus, survey competition and report food trends.
• Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction in restaurants. Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on the quality of service and food in an outlet.
• Support the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions, handling public relations, and marketing.
