Job summary

Levy, a leading hospitality provider, seeks a Banquet Supervisor to oversee staff and ensure flawless event execution at multiple venues nationwide. You will ensure compliance with BEOs, coordinate with culinary and operations teams, and drive guest satisfaction during setup, service, and breakdown.

Ideal candidates bring banquet or catering supervisory experience, strong leadership, flexibility for irregular hours, and the ability to manage safety and quality standards across complex events.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, catering, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds during events.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff during event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure events are executed according to BEOs, client expectations, and standards.
• Assign responsibilities, provide direction, and support team members throughout events.
• Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, resolving issues promptly.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate event details to staff.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Collaborate with culinary, catering, and operations teams for successful execution.
• Assist with training, coaching, and development of banquet team members.
• Complete event documentation and communicate operational concerns to leadership.
