Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager for our Virginia club. The F&B Manager will work closely with the AGM and Senior F&B Manager to ensure a quality dining experience for members and guests, joining a hands-on leadership style to engage with staff and drive service standards.

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator with maturity, capable of balancing fine dining with upscale, relaxed service, and staying current on F&B trends.

Job description

The Food and Beverage Manager role is critical to the Club’s success. The F&B Manager works closely with the AGM and Senior F&B Manager to ensure a quality dining experience for members and guests. The F&B Manager is a highly visible, “hands-on” manager who is expected to consistently engage with members and guests and lead/support service staff. Candidate must be an exceptional communicator and have excellent personal interactive skills and maturity to instinctively know how to make members and guests feel welcome and comfortable. This individual will work closely with our Food & Beverage team including the Senior F&B Manager, Beverage Manager, and Food & Beverage Manager to ensure seamless operation throughout all dining areas of the club.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Have a passion for F&B service and standards and establish a positive family-oriented culture.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of wine and wine service.
• Be highly motivated and detail-oriented and possess a positive hospitality-oriented demeanor.
• Have a hands-on management style and is motivated by the success of his/her teammates.
• Keep up with F&B trends and understand balancing fine dining with upscale, relaxed service.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to hold teammates accountable.
