Embassy Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport is looking for a motivated Food and Beverage Manager! We're near Bayshore Freeway and 10 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.

The Food and Beverage Manager directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage department to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and service within the department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year (2 preferred) experience in upper management within a full-service restaurant, 6 months (1 year preferred) hotel and banquet experience, strong administrative skills including scheduling, inventory, record keeping, and purchasing, excellent multi-tasking, time management and communication skills, open availability, and proven ability to manage and motivate a team.

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for supervising food servers, bartenders, and other staff regarding schedules, service standards, training, motivation, and safety. Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring product quality and guest satisfaction in outlets.
  • Ensuring food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
  • Interacting with guests to gather feedback on service and food quality.
  • Greeting and seating customers, resolving problems, and managing reservations.
  • Managing inventory, forecasting usage, and monitoring supplies to ensure proper stock levels.
  • Ensuring sanitation and safety standards are met, and all equipment is in working order.
  • Inspecting facilities and coordinating repairs and maintenance.
  • Participating in marketing efforts, creating menu ideas, and reporting food trends.
  • Interacting with customers to determine needs, satisfaction, and resolve conflicts.

You will also plan and direct the administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department, and implement controls for food, beverage, and labor costs.

The annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience and location.
