Base pay range
$18.00/yr - $22.11/yr
Duties
- Circulates among patrons in a patron usage facility to assure satisfactory service; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and instructions on equipment, facilities, and machinery.
- Processes and organizes food according to customer orders, arranges garnishes, checks appearance, quality, and quantity, and ensures proper presentation.
- Cleans dining area, including wiping tables and chairs, emptying trash, and vacuuming.
- May provide work guidance to other staff.
- Operates a cash register.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card are required.
- Meet qualification, eligibility, and background requirements.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete employment verification (E-Verify).
- Complete initial food sanitation and safety training within 30 days, with annual refresher training.
- Medical Examination required.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
- May require Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card.
Qualifications
- Math skills necessary for billing and inventory.
- Skill in mixing and serving beverages (note: not required for alcoholic beverages).
- Ability to follow instructions in English and basic math skills.

- This is a Flexible (Flex) position with no guaranteed hours. No leave or benefits entitlement; hours may vary.
- Area of consideration is within a 50-mile radius of DLA San Joaquin, CA.

- PCS costs are not authorized.
- This is a pay-banded position with potential Sunday premium pay and night differential if authorized.
