Job Description: Food and Beverage Team Member

Are you into video games, bowling, or karaoke? Are you friendly and outgoing? Do you enjoy being around people and working in a fun environment? Then you might be the perfect fit for our team!

This position involves providing exceptional customer service while supporting the Food and Beverage Department's operations.

Please note: a High School Diploma or GED is required. All staff handling alcohol must be 21+. Bartending experience is preferred.

Essential Duties:

1. Operate POS register for food and drinks, including bar register when directed.
2. Prepare food and beverage items according to company policies and standards.
3. Reset and bus the food court seating area.
4. Wash and dry dishes, glasses, and other utensils.
5. Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cash tills and kitchen cleaning.
6. Manage food and beverage inventory following store policies.
7. Maintain proper refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
8. Manage plates, cups, and utensil inventory.
9. Conduct restroom checks and cleaning, including laundry of rags.
10. Respond politely and responsively to customer requests with a friendly demeanor.
11. Occasionally operate POS systems to collect payments and manage facility and equipment rentals (bowling lanes, karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong, arcade cards/credits).
12. Perform other duties as assigned by Store Management.

Non-Essential Duties:

1. Control alcohol and enforce age restrictions.
2. Handle lost and found procedures.
3. Seek continuous improvement in work processes.
4. Maintain confidentiality of company policies.
5. Ensure a clean and safe working area.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma and 1-2 years of experience in hospitality or retail.
• Experience in a bowling environment is preferred but not required.
• Bartending experience is preferred.

Work Environment:

The role is based in a lively bowling center/arcade environment with high noise levels, dust, and activity.

Physical Demands:

Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, climbing, and mobility in small spaces. Standing and walking for extended periods. Handling, feeling, reaching, and lifting/moving up to 100 lbs with assistance.
