Job summary

Round One Entertainment Inc. is seeking a friendly, outgoing staff member to deliver exceptional customer service in a busy bowling/arcade environment. You will support the Food and Beverage Department and operate the POS system for food, drinks, and arcade transactions.

Weekend and night shifts are preferred. Must be 21+ to handle alcohol and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a loud, high-energy setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in entertainment or hospitality is preferred.
• Availability for weekends and night shifts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS register for food and drinks and bar as directed.
• Prepare food and beverage items per company standards.
• Manage seating, bus and reset dining areas.
• Wash and dry dishes and utensils.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory and refrigeration temperatures.
• Handle arcade/karaoke/billiards payments when applicable.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by Store Management.

Job description

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supporting the operation of the Food and Beverage Department.

Availability for weekends and nightshifts is preferred.

We require all staff who handles alcohol to be 21+.

Essential Duties

• Operates POS register for food and drinks (includes bar register when directed).
• Prepares food and beverage items utilizing the policies and standards of the company.
• Resets and bus the food court seating area.
• Washes and dries dishes, glasses, and other cooking/food prep utensils.
• Conducts all opening and closing procedures. (Opens and closes cash tills, kitchen cleaning, etc.).
• Manages food and beverage inventory by the store’s policies and procedures.
• Maintains proper temperature for refrigerators and freezers.
• Manages plates, cups, and other utensil inventory by the store policies and procedures.
• Conducts restroom checks and cleaning including laundry of rags.
• Responds responsively, and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Occasionally Operates POS system to collect payments and allocate bowling lanes.
• Occasionally Operates POS system to collect payments and lends out facility and equipment. (Karaoke, billiards, darts, ping pong).
• Occasionally operates POS system to collect payments and issues cards and credits for arcade (AM).
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned by Store Management.

Non-Essential Duties

• Conducts alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conducts lost and found procedures by company policies.
• Seeks constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways and means in department work processes.
• Complies and maintains confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Education/Experience

• A High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in entertainment or hospitality industries is preferred, but not required.

Work Environment

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces. The employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
• In addition, the employee will need to be able to use their hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms. Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs. with assistance is required.
