AmeriCorps & Senior Corps' FamilyWorks in Seattle is seeking a Food Access Assistant as part of a national service program.
The role supports the food bank and mobile pantry, helps expand equitable access to nutritious food, collects data, and engages volunteers in a welcoming community.
This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. FamilyWorks serves families in North Seattle through our food bank and resource center. We serve nearly 6,000 households each year. The member will help expand equitable access to nutritious food and a welcoming community through food distribution, data collection, and volunteer engagement. We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews in early-mid September. Monthly stipend amount: $2,438.
The Food Access Assistant supports FamilyWorks’ food bank and mobile pantry programs. They will:
