Our Company:

FOLX Health exists to be the leading health and wellness platform for LGBTQIA+ care, providing end to end services, both virtually and in person, across the spectrum of community needs. We are the north star for innovation in the broader ecosystem by creating joyful, affirming healthcare on one's own terms and building community and access around those needs.

Our Culture:

Transparency: We build trust by openly sharing our goals and progress.
Access: We invest in our team by providing the tools and training needed to achieve individual goals.
Agency: We trust our team to get their jobs done.

What You’ll Do:

As a FOLX Clinician, you will be seeing our members (patients) through a telehealth platform. The type of clinical care FOLX offers is focused on the specific needs of the trans and queer community and includes the following: Gender affirming hormone therapy, Primary care, Sexual and reproductive care, Fertility and family building, and Mental health care (both medication management and individual therapy).

As a FOLX Clinician, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients as per the FOLX medical protocols.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Master's degree or higher from a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant educational program accredited by ACEN, CCNE or ARC-PA
  • National certification through appropriate credentialing organization
  • Multiple active state NP or PA licenses to be able to practice across states upon hire. We will help support additional state license applications depending on your hours of availability
  • Active Federal DEA license
  • Active Controlled Substance Registration/Licensure if required in your state(s) of practice
  • Ideal but not required: 30 contact hours Continuing Education or a 15-week college level course in pharmacology within the last two to three years
  • Clinical experience serving the LGBTQAI+ community
  • Dedication to the FOLX mission and Informed Consent Model of Care that are rooted in empowerment, transparency, and collaboration
  • Organizational and time management skills that allow for timely completion of charts and member care in a remote work environment
  • Self-motivation, independence, and willingness to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to learn new apps, programs, and proficiency with virtual meeting platforms
  • Values: Collaboration; mutual support; and diversity of experiences, identities, and work practices

What We Offer:

  • Malpractice insurance covering your clinical work with FOLX
  • Coverage of all state licensing fees (and CSR/CSL fees, if applicable) for states in which you provide FOLX telehealth services
  • Hourly rate: $75/hour
