Job summary

Montessori is seeking a warm, skilled Upper Elementary (grades 4–6) teacher to guide students in Raleigh, NC. You will prepare and maintain the classroom, present the Montessori curriculum, observe and document progress, and partner with families and colleagues to support academic, social, and emotional growth.

You will collaborate with a credentialed Montessori teacher to lead the classroom. Required credentials include Montessori Elementary I–II and 5+ years of Montessori elementary teaching

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Montessori credential at the Elementary II or Elementary I–II (ages 6–12).
• Five+ years of experience teaching in a Montessori elementary classroom.
• Master's degree in education or related field preferred.

• Guide students in developing independent research, long‑term projects, and in‑depth study.

Position Summary

Warm, skilled, and credentialed Montessori Teacher to guide our Upper Elementary community of students in grades 4–6. Responsible for preparing and maintaining the classroom environment, presenting the Montessori curriculum, observing and documenting each child's progress, and partnering with families and colleagues to support every student's academic, social, and emotional growth. This position partners with a credentialed Montessori teacher in leading the classroom.
