Job summary

McCormick's Bindery - A Division of Fox Group is seeking a Folding Operator to set up, run, and clear the folder efficiently while maintaining run rate and quality. You will work on signature folding for binding and PI folding, ensuring materials are ready and instructions are followed.

You will verify first piece against the sample, obtain supervisor sign-off, perform QA pulls, maintain production logs, and report issues. Overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with signature folding for binding and Pharmaceutical Insert (PI) folding.
• Overtime availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform line clearance according to SOPs and log Line Clearance records.
• Have all materials staged at the machine and ready for production.
• Read and follow job jacket instructions and ensure first piece matches sample.
• Obtain supervisor sign-off on first piece approval.
• Perform quality pulls and maintain run rate and quality.
• Complete production logs for Fox Group and customers when required.
• Identify non-conforming products and tag for QA inspection.
• Follow customer-specific requirements for manufacturing, quality, and shipping.
• Report unclear or conflicting information to supervisor.
• Apply labels to cartons if required and perform additional duties as needed.
