Job summary

Oliver Packaging & Printing is seeking an experienced folding-gluer operator for our2nd shift on Long Island, NY and nearby Cleveland, OH locations. You will configure feeder, glue systems, plates, and inspection devices to ensure high-quality carton production.

The role requires hands-on Bobst or similar machine experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail. We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, relocation support, and a competitive benefits package in a clean, safe

Qualifications

• Experience operating folding-gluer equipment in printing, packaging, or folding-carton manufacturing (preferred).
• Hands-on background with Bobst or similar machines (highly preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for process and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up, adjust, and operate folding-gluer equipment to meet exact specifications.
• Tune equipment for folding sequence, glue application, caliper, scoring alignment, and carton integrity.
• Set up and run automated inspection systems to assure quality and run output.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Read job tickets, confirm schedules, maintain inventory, and complete end-of-run cleanup.
