Job summary

Responsibilities include machine setup, line maintenance, and supervising junior workers while logging production data. Prior experience with folder-gluer machines is required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating folder-gluer equipment in a commercial print, packaging, or folding-carton environment.
• Strong ability to use basic hand tools and read both standard and metric tape measures.
• Ability to interpret work orders and adjust machinery settings precisely.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial folder gluer machines safely (Bobst, Moll, or Jagenberg).
• Set up feeders, folding rails, and delivery belts based on job tickets and plans.
• Manage glue systems (hot-melt and cold glue) for accurate patterns and adhesion.
• Maintain line efficiency by feeding blanks and preventing bottlenecks for downstream packers.
• Troubleshoot jams, clean glue heads, and perform routine maintenance to keep the line running.
• Lead and train assistant operators and temporary crew; log production counts and waste.
