Job summary

Dynamis Inc. in Washington, DC seeks a Paralegal - FOIA Specialist to provide FOIA support to the Treasury Dept. OFAC, handling the full life-cycle of FOIA/PA requests.

The role requires US citizenship, the ability to obtain a security clearance, a bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience, and strong analytical and teamwork skills. Vaccination per policy is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3–5 years of work experience.
• Experience applying FOIA/PA exemptions.
• Proven analytical background and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent analysis and apply FOIA and PA exemptions and/or exclusions as appropriate.
• Review FOIA/PA requests to obtain responsive documents and reconcile responses.
• Redact documents in accordance with applicable instructions and policy.
• Make annotations to records.
• Process cases through the submitter notice process.
• Prepare for litigation and submit cases for government review.
