Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a seasoned FOIA/PA case manager in Washington, DC to independently conduct cradle-to-grave processing of requests. You will review records for responsiveness, craft determinations, and ensure compliance with exemptions.

The role emphasizes applying FOIA exemptions 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and related PA exemptions, coordinating with multiple offices, and using FOIAXpress and Adobe Acrobat for precise redactions and annotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of experience; additional years may substitute for degree.
• Prior FOIA experience required.
• Expert ability to independently handle FOIA requests and respond with redactions and communication with requestors.

Responsibilities

• Duties end-to-end case management: cradle-to-grave review and processing of FOIA/PA requests.
• Review and analyze FOIA/PA records for responsiveness; draft determinations; ensure released materials meet statutory exemptions.
• Research and apply FOIA Exemptions 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and PA exemptions in compliance with laws and agency policies.
• Coordinate and track high-volume requests across offices to ensure accurate, complete, and legally sufficient responses.
• Use electronic tracking databases and software (Adobe Acrobat, FOIAXpress); proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
