Job summary

THE ONE GROUP in Miami is seeking a Team Member to deliver a welcoming guest experience. You will greet guests, take orders, and manage POS transactions in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle cash, assist with opening/closing duties, and help maintain a clean, organized service area while upholding food safety standards. Training and room for growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work legally in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 months of customer service or food service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must maintain a valid, unexpired Food Handler’s Card where required.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble orders according to brand standards.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters and service areas.

• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide prompt, courteous service and address guest questions.
• Support teammates to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What You’ll Do

The Team Member's is responsible for delivering a welcoming and efficient guest experience. This role includes greeting guests, taking and fulfilling orders, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized service area.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system
• Prepare and/or assemble orders according to brand standards (if applicable)
• Process cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of counters, service stations, and condiment areas
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including station setup and breakdown
• Follow all company cash handling procedures, including securing the cash drawer
• Uphold company food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Provide prompt, courteous service and address guest questions or concerns
• Support team members as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
