Roots Natural Kitchen is seeking a Shift Manager for the Front of House at the Pitt - North Fayette location. You will supervise FOH operations, train and support crew, and ensure a welcoming, high-energy guest experience.

In this role you will lead by example, manage varied schedules including nights and weekends, and collaborate with leadership to maintain top service standards while upholding Roots values and quality. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and train front-of-house teams.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Roots culture and values to the crew to deliver a consistent guest experience.
• Collaborate with Leadership Team to maintain an engaging, efficient FOH environment.
• Develop crew leadership skills and provide practical coaching and feedback.
• Ensure thorough, hands-on training for all FOH staff.
• Lead shifts effectively to deliver fast, high-quality service.
• Maintain exceptional customer experiences and attention to detail.
• Enforce food safety practices and standards consistently.
• Master all front-of-house roles and step in as needed.
