The Pearl is looking to hire a manager to be the face of our restaurant and help drive sales throughout the Corpus Christi, TX area. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and loves helping customers.
Responsibilities:
Supervising serving staff to ensure that they provide high-quality service to customers.
Helping hosts manage reservations and respond to customer inquiries, either in person or on the phone
Training hosts, servers, and other restaurant staff on restaurant processes and on how to greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
Greeting customers as they enter the restaurant and providing them with assistance if the serving staff are busy.
Organizing and implementing work schedules for front-of-house employees
Ensuring all employees follow the applicable health and safety rules and regulations when handling food and serving customers.
Making sure that the restaurant remains profitable by reviewing restaurant sales in all areas (alcohol and food) on a regular basis.
Managing suppliers, inventory, and cash registers
Maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant and helping monitor any equipment issues or needs.
Required Skills:
Great customer service skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and be a team player.
High school degree or equivalent
Ability to pass a background check with no felony convictions in the last 10 years or pass a background check with no military background convictions.
A minimum of 2 years or more experience with front of the house management.
