Position Purpose

This role involves welcoming, greeting, and seating guests, ensuring their needs are met during their wait.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Greet guests promptly and courteously, seat guests following management’s seat assignments.
  2. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with colleagues and managers.
  3. Answer phones, provide information, and handle reservations.
  4. Assist with table clearing, resetting, and opening tasks like maintaining flower arrangements and cleanliness.
  5. Handle guest complaints and special requests as needed.
  6. If assigned to coat check, manage coats, umbrellas, and bags efficiently.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  8. Follow opening and closing procedures.
  9. Maintain professionalism with staff and guests.
  10. Assist with service steps, such as food delivery, to ensure guest satisfaction.
  11. Be accessible to answer questions related to guests and reservations.
  12. Follow service standards and assist in communicating them to staff.
Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain personal cleanliness.
  • Basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and service.
  • Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Active listening and learning skills.
  • Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
  • Discipline to follow standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
